The European Bibliodrama Network (EBW) invites you to an inspiring meeting in Höör, southern of Sweden. The theme of our workshops and joint meetings is ”Like a bridge”, based on the text from Genesis 32:22-31
Whether you are a beginner or experienced in bibliodrama, you are very welcome!
Workshops and Activities
We offer five different workshops. The days will also include joint gatherings, opportunities for in-depth studies, personal time, future planning for EBN and PARTY!
Meeting place
Our meeting place is Backagården in Höör, a place with a rich history in the labour
movement since 1933. There is also the beautiful beech forest ”Stenskogen”, where
stones for Lund Cathedral were taken.
Ecumenical Year 2025
The Christian Council of Sweden has declared an ecumenical year with the theme
”Time for God’s peace”, commemorating the ecumenical peace meeting in 1925 in
Stockholm and the Council of Nicea in the year of 325. We believe that bibliodrama
meetings contribute to this time of God’s peace, far beyond denominational
boundaries.
Bibliodrama can be encounters with each other and texts, where words and
meanings have a value, but also what is between the lines. It is in the in-between
spaces, our personal experiences and interpretations, that we can explore creatively
and share in safe spaces. Let’s meet across borders and build human bridges!
